Specialist Steps Class: A Strong Step in Academic and Social Development

At İpekböceği Kindergarten and Nursery, we offer children a versatile educational program through the Specialist Steps Class, designed to maximize their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.

In this class, for children aged 39+ months, the process of learning with fun continues under the guidance of two expert teachers, while they strengthen academic skills and gain independence in social and self-care areas.

During this period, children develop problem-solving skills, understand differences, strengthen social communication, and integrate learning into daily life.

Our educational approach, supported by the Discovery Curriculum, aims to enhance children’s critical thinking, independent action, empathy, and self-confidence at the highest level.

What Do Our Children Do in the Specialist Steps Class?

✔ We aim for full independence in self-care. We support skills such as eating independently, completing toilet habits, personal hygiene, and being organized.

✔ We develop movement abilities. Sports, balance exercises, and group games support children’s muscle growth and coordination.

✔ We learn basic and advanced concepts. While reinforcing colors, shapes, numbers, objects, opposites/synonyms, emotions, and values, we also discover advanced concepts such as self and others, social adaptation, problem-solving, and empathy.

✔ We make learning a part of daily life. Children learn to apply acquired knowledge in everyday situations, turning learning into continuity.

✔ We strengthen social adaptation and group dynamics. We support children in forming healthy peer relationships, learning to be individuals in a group, and cooperating effectively.

✔ We help children understand individual differences. By exploring questions like “Who am I?” and “What makes me different from others?”, children increase their self-identity awareness.

✔ We develop problem-solving skills. Through real-life examples and educational games, children strengthen their critical thinking abilities.

08:00 – 12:00 – Active Theme Education & Activities

We provide various learning experiences with themes that enhance questioning and discovery skills.

12:00 – 13:00 – Lunch

We support healthy and balanced eating habits with nutritious menus.

13:00 – 14:15 – Rest and Relaxation Time

After intensive learning hours, we plan a special relaxation period for children to rest mentally and physically.
