The Associate Steps Class Parent Documentation Meeting is a special opportunity that allows you to observe your child’s in-class learning processes, individual developmental journey, and daily interactions from a multidimensional perspective. In this meeting, you will have the chance to explore the children’s inquiry-based learning experiences, their relationship with different materials, their roles in project work, and their social skill development in detail.

The Associate Steps period is a stage where children begin to think more deeply, become more production-oriented, actively use problem-solving skills, and take responsibility within group work. This phase stands out as a developmental period in which children mature noticeably both academically and socially, and their classroom awareness strengthens significantly.

During our documentation meeting, your child’s learning journey will be shared with you through photographs, classroom products, observation notes, project boards, learning traces, and daily inquiry outputs. Each document makes visible your child’s thinking processes, their approach to topics of curiosity, their role within the group, and how they construct their own learning.

In this meeting, we will evaluate the following topics together:

• Your child's daily classroom routine and the activities they participate in

• Inquiry-based project processes, investigations, and topics of interest

• How your child’s areas of interest deepen and develop

• Peer relationships, task distribution within the group, and the development of social skills

• Teacher–child and child–child communication patterns

• Development in cognitive, language, motor, and self-care skills

• Making the learning process visible through documentation

Additionally, the teacher will share detailed insights into your child’s individual development, including strengths, areas needing support, classroom preferences, and learning styles.

Your participation helps your child feel valued, gives deeper meaning to their work, and supports them in continuing their learning journey confidently.
