The First Steps Class Parent Documentation Meeting is a special sharing opportunity that allows you to closely observe the valuable moments your child experiences at school. In this meeting, you will have the chance to examine our little ones’ in-class learning processes, discoveries, curiosities, play-based experiences, and social-emotional development from a holistic perspective.

The First Steps period is a very special beginning stage in which children adapt safely to school, build bonds with their teachers, and establish friendship relationships for the first time. Every step children take during this process is part of a discovery, a learning moment, and a developmental journey. In our documentation meeting, each of these steps will be shared with you in detail through photographs, observation notes, activity samples, and children’s work.

In this meeting, we will evaluate the following together:

• Your child's daily classroom routine

• The activities, games, and workshops they participate in

• How their areas of interest take shape

• Progress in social-emotional development

• Teacher–child and child–child communication patterns

• Developments in motor, language, and self-care skills

• Making the learning process visible through documentation

In addition, our teacher will share comprehensive observations about your child’s strengths, areas that need support, and the environments within the classroom where they express themselves most effectively.

The Parent Documentation Meeting is not merely an informative session; it is also a process that strengthens family-school cooperation and allows us to evaluate your child’s development within a shared framework. Your participation plays a highly important role in helping your child feel valued and in giving meaning to their efforts.
