The Professor Steps Class Parent Documentation Meeting is a special opportunity where you can evaluate your child’s developmental journey in its most comprehensive and visible form. In this meeting, we will examine in detail the research-based projects students conduct throughout the day, their problem-solving processes, collaborative learning experiences, academic awareness, and socio-emotional development.

The Professor Steps period is an advanced developmental stage in which children use higher-level thinking skills, investigate topics they are curious about in depth, demonstrate increased responsibility, and experience leadership roles within group work. At this stage, children begin to use important skills—such as generating ideas, designing solutions, establishing cause-and-effect relationships, planning, analyzing, and structuring their own learning—in a more systematic manner.

During our documentation meeting, your child's learning processes will be shared with you through photographs, project boards, research outputs, observation notes, classroom products, learning traces, and individual development records. These documents reflect your child’s learning style, thinking patterns, responsibilities within the classroom, peer relationships, and developmental milestones in a detailed way.

In this meeting, we will evaluate the following main areas:

• Your child’s daily classroom routine, the activities they join, and the responsibilities they take on

• In-depth project studies, research processes, and inquiry-based explorations

• How your child’s individual interests mature and expand

• Group collaboration, leadership experiences, and social skill development

• Teacher–child and child–child communication dynamics

• Making the learning process visible and meaningful through documentation

Additionally, the teacher will provide comprehensive feedback regarding your child’s roles within the classroom, strengths, areas needing improvement, tendencies in learning centers, and preferred learning strategies.
